Metrolink provides daily light-rail commuter train service between residential and major commercial areas like Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura Counties. The City also offers local shuttle bus service with the routes pass through the regional malls, Civic Center, Senior Citizens' Center, regional hospital facilities and the Baldwin Park Metrolink train station. The City operates the GO WEST shuttle system, which provides transportation to many West Covina destinations. The City also provides a free shuttle to the Baldwin Park Metrolink station.

West Covina is a city situated in eastern Los Angeles County, California, United States. West Covina came in to existence as an independent city in 1923, to prevent the City of Covina from establishing a sewage farm in the city. It is located at 34°03′24″N 117°55′07″W and about 362 feet above the sea level. As of the census of 2000, there were 105,080 people, 31,411 households, and 25,254 families residing in the city. As of 2002,West Covina is the 50th largest city in California. The current approximate population as of 2004 is 111,404. The population density was 2,518.4/km² (6,524.6/mi²).
